Finding Your Employees the Right Seat on The Bus

The KMO model helps to drive a culture of excellence. Goals or objectives are not simply put in front of employees, but they ensure that the right employees are being placed in the “right seat on the bus”. Not just from the perspective of the organization, but also based on the motivation of the employee themselves. Sometimes they have the right cultural fit, but they just need a different scenery.

While many of us are good at things we do not enjoy doing or enjoy things we may not be good at, the holy grail here is to establish a system that provides for a win-win situation where employees tie their likes with their skills. In turn the organization creates higher quality of deliverables and an environment that is fun to succeed in.

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."
- Steve Jobs (CEO, Apple)
